I’m so excited you’re interested in Ashley Davis Photography for your wedding day coverage! Not only will I provide you with beautiful photography capturing your special day, but I will be available for 24/7 consultation for any photography related questions.

Wedding planning is key to a successful day, from coordinating with the venue to the florist, every detail needs to be perfect. Ashley Davis Photography will provide a step by step overview to let you know what to expect with each passing week.

I’m a detailed planner, I like to have a game plan, and operating a photography business is no different. The following is an overview of what to expect when working with Ashley Davis Photography:

Introduction

This is the point you’ve reach out via email or by cell to contact us regarding your special day! We would discuss what your aspirations and needs are for your wedding, then I’d offer advise for which wedding package best describes your wishes.

Consultation

We would then conduct a in person consultation at a local restaurant, to discuss in depth your wedding from top to bottom. A portfolio will be available showcasing my work from landscape shots to weddings. This will be when you and your soon to be spouse can decide if our values and dreams align for your beautiful day. You are not locked in to Ashley Davis Photography at this point in the time line.

Think It Over

I encourage all my clients to take the time to consult with one another. This means discussing in full what Ashley Davis Photography offers and if you feel it aligns with your desires. This is an important decision, take your time.

Reserve The Date

In order to reserve a date in my calendar, one or both parties will sign a statement of work release, this document protects both Ashley Davis Photography and the client. It will ensure all parties are aware of the services being preformed and provides legal documentation of the session. Upon signing the statement of work release, a 50% deposit will be required to reserve the date. By doing so it guarantees no one else can book this date. Keep in mind Ashley Davis Photography will shoot one wedding per day, it is better to plan ahead; weddings will be booked on a first come first serve basis.

Advice Blogs

Once your date has been reserved, the bride and groom will receive a welcoming message complete with detailed overview of what to expect going forward. This is Ashley Davis Photography’s way of showing not only gratitude for you trusting them with this momentous occasion but to provide solid preparation advice for your day.

My bride and groom can also view informational wedding blogs on my website. These blogs touch on everything from how I achieve the best lighting for staged photos to preparing for inclement weather. My goal is to assist you to the best of my ability, I’m available 27/4 to answer any photography related questions.

Two Weeks Prior to your Wedding

At this point I will reach out to you verifying the over view of your wedding day has not changed. This will be a verification consultation, and resolving any questions presented.

Wedding Day

Finally, the big day has arrived, I will arrive one hour prior to the scheduled wedding start time. For example, if you selected the 8-hour package, your wedding preparation begins at 8 a.m. I will be there at 7 a.m. This ensures all last-minute details can be fine-tuned.

After the Wedding

Contingent upon what package my client has selected will determine how long to photos are received, however a sneak peak will be provided with in 24-48 hours on Ashley Davis Photography’s social media.
